Profit before tax (PBT) of Sumeet Industries Ltd stood at Rs 1.53 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 80.83% year-on-year, and plunging by 70.18% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 8 crore, crashing by 33.91% YoY and nosediving by 33.42% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 4.29% to Rs 268.19 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 226.44 crore, growing marginally by 5.46% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 7.33 crore, tanking by 18.83% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 1.88% to Rs 1003.37 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 388.53% to Rs 170.26 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA plunged by 4536% to Rs 9.95 crore, and PBT collapsed by 382.95% to Rs 179.59 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 195.58 crore in FY26, as against Rs 14.79 crore in FY25. Sumeet Industries Ltd fell 5.03% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
