Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd consolidated sales down 46.83% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 565.61% As on : 05-Aug-26  15:47

Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.80% to Rs 538.6. The Company's net profit plunged by 565.61% to Rs 23.42 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 46.83% to Rs 149.04 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Garments & Apparels industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 92156.75 crore, climbing 11.37%. It has inched up 1.01% over last one week and advanced by 8.38% in last one month while the market capitalization of Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd has marginally improved by 1.47% and 8.49% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd stood at Rs 31.71 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 47.01% year-on-year, and tanking 739.31% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 23 crore, expanding by 43.41% YoY and tumbling by 231.40% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 34.16% to Rs 178.91 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 32.32 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 25.56% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 37.03 crore, easing 0.43% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 3.63% to Rs 1100.41 crore, while net profit surged by 35.42% to Rs 81.17 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 12232% to Rs 151.33 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 41.20% to Rs 113.91 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 72.81 crore in FY26, as against Rs 81.46 crore in FY25. Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd declined 7.43% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
