Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd consolidated sales up 10.35% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit inched up 9.56% As on : 04-Aug-26  21:37

Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd share price slipped 4.96% to Rs 9.58. The Company's net profit saw a marginal increase of 9.56% to Rs 37.93 crore, while revenue from operations gained 10.35% to Rs 153.04 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Iron & Steel industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.04 lakh crore, declining 5.78%. It has marginally improved by 3.99% over last one week and softened by 4.62% in last one month while the market capitalization of Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd has remained flat Profit before tax (PBT) of Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd stood at Rs 23.25 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 37.50% year-on-year, and crashing by 1848.12% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 4 crore, nosediving by 152.65% YoY and tumbling by 165.35% sequentially. Total expenses increased by 14.60% to Rs 164.96 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 130.3 crore, rising 14.70% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 5.39 crore, tanking by 14.31% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations sank 20.88% to Rs 627.51 crore, while net profit tumbled by 1320.15% to Rs 239.15 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA tanked by 11048% to Rs 22.16 crore, and PBT plunged by 1005.17% to Rs 241.41 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 94.97 crore in FY26, as against Rs 49.86 crore in FY25. Mideast Integrated Steels Ltd crashed 37.30% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.94% during the same period.
