BASF India Ltd share price inched up 2.02% to Rs 3709.75 after the company's net profit surged by 423.07% to Rs 360.29 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 40.16% to Rs 4820.06 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Specialty Chemicals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 5.16 lakh crore, jumping 15.88%. It has improved by 0.93% over last one week and gained upto 7.79% in last one month while the market capitalization of BASF India Ltd has marginally improved by 0.19% and 2.41% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of BASF India Ltd stood at Rs 492.71 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 162.54% year-on-year, and surging by 450.02% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 482 crore, expanding by 147.51% YoY and jumping 381.94% sequentially. Total expenses jumped by 29.44% to Rs 4361.06 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1384.89 crore, soaring by 30.92% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 112.18 crore, registering a marginal contraction of 5.36% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 1.10% to Rs 14930.36 crore, while net profit declined by 13.98% to Rs 416.23 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 62516% to Rs 593.93 crore, and PBT dropped 13.99% to Rs 561.26 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 110.09 crore in FY26, as against Rs 372.74 crore in FY25. BASF India Ltd plunged by 22.07% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.94% during the same period.
