Rites Ltd consolidated sales down 30.73% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 29.83% As on : 04-Aug-26  15:37

Rites Ltd share price gained 2.33% to Rs 219.25. The Company's net profit tanked by 29.83% to Rs 97.78 crore, while revenue from operations plunged by 30.73% to Rs 532.2 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.63 lakh crore, declining 2.94%. It has marginally improved by 3.56% over last one week and dipped slightly by 2.89% in last one month while the market capitalization of Rites Ltd has inched up 2.41% and 3.22% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Rites Ltd stood at Rs 130.56 crore in Q2 FY26, rising 7.38% year-on-year, and crashing by 29.71% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 86 crore, slipping 6.50% YoY and tanking 37.19% sequentially. Total expenses slumped by 29.60% to Rs 434.11 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 135.71 crore, dipping slightly 0.96% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations contracted by 10.46% to Rs 2196.35 crore, while net profit declined by 14.45% to Rs 423.66 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 55848% to Rs 409.29 crore, and PBT dropped 15.71% to Rs 565.02 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 637.06 crore in FY26, as against Rs 431.56 crore in FY25. Rites Ltd nosedived by 15.43% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.94% during the same period.
