Greaves Cotton Ltd share price slipped 2.14% to Rs 232.9 after the company's net profit soared by 180% to Rs 6.16 crore, while revenue from operations softened by 2.61% to Rs 974.12 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Compressors, Pumps & Diesel Engines industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.66 lakh crore, declining 5.05%. It has marginally improved by 0.83% over last one week and gained upto 4.65% in last one month while the market capitalization of Greaves Cotton Ltd has slipped by 2.47% and 34.43% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Greaves Cotton Ltd stood at Rs 27.05 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 37.12% year-on-year, and slipping 2.10% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 45 crore, jumping 16.71% YoY and crashing by 17.58% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 1.43% to Rs 946.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 668.9 crore, inching up 8.21% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 102.52 crore, soaring 14.23% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 17.76% to Rs 3436.62 crore, while net profit tanked by 661.94% to Rs 35.29 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 8538% to Rs 189.11 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 58.50% to Rs 114.91 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 32.58 crore in FY26, as against Rs 22.52 crore in FY25. Greaves Cotton Ltd rallied 9.16% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.94% during the same period.
