The market capitalization of Cement & Cement Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.52 lakh crore, easing 3.68%. It has softened by 0.37% over last one week and crept higher by 2.90% in last one month while the market capitalization of Kesoram Industries Ltd has improved by 2.21% and 19.84% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Kesoram Industries Ltd stood at Rs 20.63 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 79.25% year-on-year, and tumbling by 166.40% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 10 crore, plunging by 54.23% YoY and nosediving by 44.18% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 9.05% to Rs 92.26 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 54.08 crore, surging by 41.87% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 17.9 crore, ticking higher by 3.77% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 4.31% to Rs 247.62 crore, while net profit tanked by 20.22% to Rs 88.13 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 8421% to Rs 112.63 crore, and PBT dipped slightly 3.11% to Rs 88.22 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 107.0 crore in FY26, as against Rs 37.34 crore in FY25. Kesoram Industries Ltd jumped 116.58% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 4.36% during the same period.
