Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd consolidated sales down 27.34% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 71.60% As on : 31-Jul-26  17:47

Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd share price declined by 0.54% to Rs 468.65 after the company's net profit tumbled by 71.60% to Rs 48.76 crore, while revenue from operations plunged by 27.34% to Rs 351.96 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Hotels & Resorts industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.42 lakh crore, declining 9.09%. It has marginally improved by 1.29% over last one week and rose by 8.35% in last one month while the market capitalization of Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd has eased by 1.19% and 9.26% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd stood at Rs 64.34 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 310.33% year-on-year, and crashing by 68.73% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 135 crore, rallying 80.01% YoY and tumbling by 47.73% sequentially. Total expenses softened by 2.97% to Rs 241.24 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 27.38 crore, contracting by 10.76% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 86.54 crore, easing 6.18% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 11.02% to Rs 1300.57 crore, while net profit tanked by 2337.56% to Rs 47.66 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 48088% to Rs 488.4 crore, and PBT jumped 425.32% to Rs 102.07 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 552.88 crore in FY26, as against Rs 538.78 crore in FY25. Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd soared by 10.92% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.36% during the same period.
