Coal India Limited reported provisional coal production of 50.4 million tonnes for July 2026, a 8.4% increase compared to 46.4 million tonnes in the same period last year. For the April 2026 to July 2026 period, the company's cumulative production reached 220.0 million tonnes, a 4.3% decrease year-on-year. Simultaneously, Coal India's off-take for July 2026 was 63.7 million tonnes, up 17.4% from 54.2 million tonnes in the corresponding period of the previous year, with a cumulative off-take of 261.9 million tonnes for the April-July 2026 period, a 6.8% rise compared to the prior year.
