Tainwala Chemicals and Plastics (India) Limited announced several board appointments and re-appointments on August 8, 2024, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Ramesh Tainwala was re-appointed as Chairman & Managing Director for a five-year term effective August 9, 2027, and will not be subject to rotation. Additionally, Devendra Saligram Anand and Uday Ramniklal Mehta were re-appointed as Independent Directors for five-year terms, also without rotation. The company also appointed M/s. SDBA & Co., Chartered Accountants, as its new auditor. Tainwala, a seasoned business leader with over 40 years of experience, previously served as Global CEO of Samsonite. The directors are not debarred from holding office and relationships between directors have been disclosed.
